I am so sorry that you got sick! There is a very nasty bug going around. Two close friends last week had to stay home, both COVID negative, saying it was the sickest they felt in years. I hope by the time you read this, things are looking up.
Uggh! Slowly on the mend… but we added another night to our hotel stay in Bend. Tom went out to get some additional meds at the local Target and said that the shelves with decongestant and cold meds were nearly emptied out. Something must be going around!
Amie, sorry that you've caught a bug in the middle of your exciting journey. You did the right thing doing the bailout and resting up until you're ready to rev up again. Hope you have a quick recovery!
I’m with you..I was in Ontario Canada reliving childhood memories with children friends. Late nights, early mornings, food I don’t normally eat. My voice was gone the first day and I was there for a week. We got hit by a major storm and I saw all kinds of people…no downtime. I got home and I tested myself to make sure I didnt bring Covid back with me to hubby. I’m sleep deprived and feel like I have allergies, a sore throat as my voice kind of has returned and my system is achy. Today I got the flowers in as hubby is finishing the electrical and putting in the water. I folded. Another bath. I’m in jammies and I’m done
Thank you Tom. Skies are sunnier today but still laying low. Body is saying wait a bit more. Enjoyed reading your entries today as I am convalescing here in Bend.
Feel better, have you thought about stock piling on airborne
I’ve never found it to work for me! Does it help you?
Yea I take it everyday I also drink the occasional echinacea tea. Then when I did get set it was when I had stopped taking it

Working my way back to health- it comes first. My view is that scenery will still be there for me when I am ready!

Yes! Living in the jammies for a few days!!
I make no,excuses for being in them! Get better soon!
Glad that is was just a bad cold. If this is the worst bailout, you’ll live a long life!
Here’s hoping, Etta! I’ll take this, if it is the worst of it.
It sucks being sick, but that’s multiplied when you are on the road. Wishing you better health and sunny skies.

Feel better. Monitor your symptoms. Take another COVID test in a day or two. Rest easy.
